April 2024 marks an important milestone in Exhibit Interactive’s story so far, as we celebrate our tenth anniversary.
It’s been quite the journey since those early days in 2014, when our founder, Joe, spotted a gap in the market for a quicker, easier and more sustainable way of building interactive bespoke and modular exhibition stands, as an alternative to traditional stand construction methods.
Since then, we’ve evolved from a home-based business into a thriving SME with a growing team of creative event professionals and diverse clients across the UK, including some high-profile brands, delivering sustainable, interactive solutions at events in the UK, Europe and beyond.
Over the years, we’ve worked with some brilliant people, represented some fantastic brands and businesses, visited some incredible shows and had a lot of fun and unforgettable experiences along the way.
The whole ethos behind the business is doing things differently. Reimagining the events experience and combining sustainable materials and construction methods with clever technology integrations to create immersive, interactive and memorable exhibition stands and solutions for our clients.
In 2016, after making a significant investment in T3 stand system stock, we delivered our first big stand, for Saint Gobain Interior Solutions at Housing 2016. We’ve worked with the client ever since, delivering various innovative solutions over the years.
2018 saw our first major expansion as Gaye, our lovely Operations Director, joined the team to support our growing list of clients and projects. She brought with her a wealth of industry experience and introduced us to valued, long-standing clients like Rockwool UK.
Embracing virtual solutions
2020 saw things change again. The global COVID pandemic struck and caused the events industry to grind to a halt as lockdowns started to bite. We quickly pivoted to offering digital solutions and online exhibitions to help our clients stay connected with their customers, like the interactive Connected City virtual environments we created for hospitality technology provider Zonal.
The same year also saw us launch a new innovation into the market – Exhibit Cube.
Exhibit Cube helps event organisers break free from the confines of traditional shell scheme. It’s a more efficient and sustainable booth construction method that gives organisers greater control over their event’s layout, look and feel.
Then, in 2021, our team grew again as Chris, our amazing Client Services Director, came on board. He jumped straight into the action, heading out to our first international show – IFAT in Munich – to deliver a vast interactive bespoke stand for Talis.
A sustainable future
Sustainability has always been a crucial part of what we do at Ei – we try to build sustainable elements into every stand we work on where possible. In early 2023, our first ever cardboard stand – for Jewson’s Making Better Homes initiative – was a testament to this. Creatively designed and made from 100% sustainable materials, the stand was a massive hit at Jewson Live.
We’ve since delivered cardboard stands for other clients, including Advanced Bionics, Solar Centre, Entegra and Saint Gobain. Check out the gallery below:
So, what does the future hold for Exhibit Interactive?
Well, we’re still moving forward at breakneck speed. Our events calendar for the year is filling up as more clients seek out innovative, sustainable solutions to their event challenges.
We’ve always believed in seeing – and doing – things differently. We don’t do boring and encourage our clients not to either. We believe there’s a different way of doing things, of engaging people, inspiring them and turning them into lifelong advocates of your business or brand.
As we move into 2024 and beyond, we’ll be taking the same innovative, sustainable approach to all our projects to help our clients deliver memorable event experiences. So, to learn more about how we can help your business do the same, get in touch. We’d love to hear about your next event and explore how we can make it your best ever.
