Exhibition Stand for Saint Gobain Insulation UK

The Client

Saint Gobain is a leading global manufacturer of sustainable construction materials. Its products provide comfort, performance and safety while addressing the challenges of sustainable construction, resource efficiency and climate change.

Saint Gobain Insulation (SGI) – its specialist insulation division, which manufactures and distributes products under the ‘Isover’ brand – creates energy-efficient solutions designed to help protect the environment. Its mineral wool and foam product innovations are designed for use in the residential and non-residential new build and renovation markets, along with the climatic engineering, industrial, shipbuilding and OEM sectors.

The Project

Ei was given the brief to design and build a new stand for SGI, to help it make a memorable impact at the UK Construction Week trade show. The event is the UK’s biggest exhibition and conference for the built environment sector.

It attracts hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of delegates every year, to get insight from key industry players and discover the latest technologies and product innovations from building and construction suppliers.

We were tasked with creating a stand that met several crucial elements of SGI’s corporate responsibility. It needed to be reusable and adaptable to varying dimensions and footprints at other exhibitions, as well as being visually appealing, modern and open.

The Solution

Ei created a design using a modular solution, with integrated LED video walls, that is lighter and easier to assemble than more traditional stands. This reduces build time and produces no waste or landfill. All elements were made from reusable materials and can be reinstalled at other exhibitions.

Slimline LED panels create areas of synchronised digital content, which were used to promote key brand messages, product visuals and information. At the centre of the stand, a large 55” touchscreen proved to be a gathering point and provided interactivity and engagement to visitors looking for product information and technical data. This eliminated the need for printed literature and doubled as a data capture mechanism, enabling visitors to request information via email.

The Impact

Our solution met SGI’s brief of creating a stand that was memorable, sustainable and reusable. The synchronised video areas create visual appeal drawing people into the stand, while giving SGI the option to tailor the content for different events, according to the audience.

The touchscreen technology works amazing well, enabling SGI to display its brochures, videos and technical data in a way which allows visitors and staff to interact with it while on the stand, and larger groups to view it together.

The modular nature of the stand allows it to be adapted for use at numerous events, meeting Saint Gobain’s corporate responsibility.
