Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions
at Education Estates
& Healthcare Estates
The Client
Ecophon is a global leader in acoustic solutions. It develops and manufactures acoustic panels, baffles and ceiling systems that improve sound environments and support wellbeing in workplaces, schools and healthcare settings.
British Gypsum provides drylining partitions, wall linings, ceilings and plaster finishes that help create better buildings and lasting improvements for communities. And Isover delivers high‑performance mineral wool insulation solutions that enhance comfort, safety and energy efficiency while reducing environmental impact.
Together, these three brands form part of Saint‑Gobain Interior Solutions, a global manufacturing group that designs, makes and distributes materials and services for the construction and industrial markets.
The Project
Our founder and Creative Director, Joe, led this project.
Saint-Gobain’s exhibition programme spanned two major industry events within the space of a week, which both took place at Manchester Central.
First was Education Estates, the UK’s leading exhibition dedicated to the design, build and management of schools, colleges and universities.
This was followed by Healthcare Estates, which brought together over 250 organisations and a full programme of free keynotes and presentations for healthcare estates professionals.
Across both events, the client needed a stand to showcase its latest acoustic solutions and demonstrate how sound environments can enhance learning and academic performance and improve wellbeing and patient care.
The Solution
We created a flexible, sustainable modular exhibition stand using BeMatrix components. A branded stretch fabric wall, updated with fresh graphics for the second event, reinforced the three brands’ identity in these two key sectors, while using recyclable materials minimised its environmental impact.
An innovative ‘digital door’ sat at the heart of the stand. Using LED tiles and content we created, it allowed visitors to explore products in realistic settings, tailored to either education or healthcare. To further boost engagement, a custom interactive touchscreen word search game greeted visitors at the front of the stand.
Ecophon’s products were showcased throughout the stand, while two bespoke, joint-branded display units for its sister-brands British Gypsum and Isover added further interaction. An LED screen streaming corporate content complemented the product displays.
The Impact
Exhibiting at both events allowed Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions to deliver an engaging sensory experience to two distinct but equally important audiences.
The stand created opportunities to demonstrate the practical benefits of its acoustic solutions in real-world contexts, sparking meaningful conversations with decision-makers and potential customers.
The interactive ‘touch‘ features we created encouraged longer visits, while the stand’s modular design projected a forward-thinking, sustainable image.
As a result, the client strengthened its existing relationships, generated valuable new leads and reinforced its reputation as a trusted partner in shaping more comfortable and welcoming environments across education and healthcare.
Testimonial
“Working with Exhibit Interactive on this project was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Joe and the team took the time to really understand our objectives before translating them into a stand that reflected our key messages, brand values and desire for an interactive and engaging stand.
“The design was innovative, practical and sustainable, while the interactive elements gave us a powerful way to engage visitors and showcase our solutions in context. The design and build allowed us to have a stand that worked across two shows, helping to reduce waste while still being relevant and specific to the show we were at.
“Both events were a real success, and the feedback we received from colleagues and customers was overwhelmingly positive. The team’s professionalism, creativity and attention to detail made the whole process seamless, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We look forward to working with the team on the next one.”
