Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions at
London Build and the Fire Safety Event
The Client
Saint-Gobain is a leading global manufacturer of construction materials that address the challenges of climate change, resource efficiency, and sustainable development. Its Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions brand portfolio, which includes British Gypsum and Isover, combines a full range of high-performance insulation and drylining solutions and knowledge.
British Gypsum provides drylining partitions, wall linings, ceilings and plaster finishes that help create better buildings and lasting improvements for communities. And Isover delivers high‑performance mineral wool insulation solutions that enhance comfort, safety and energy efficiency while reducing environmental impact.
The Project
Our founder and Creative Director, Joe, led this project.
Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions is a long-standing client that we’ve worked with on several projects over the years. For this project, we were tasked with creating a sustainable modular exhibition stand its team could use across multiple events to showcase its brands and product offerings.
The first was London Build 2025, which attracted 45,000 attendees, 900 speakers and 700 exhibitors to the Excel in Canary Wharf for two days of networking, keynote presentations and CPD opportunities.
And the Fire Safety Event is an independent trade show dedicated to supporting the UK’s fire and safety industry. It gives fire safety professionals, installers, integrators, consultants and end users the opportunity to connect, collaborate and stay ahead of the curve. This year’s event took place at the NEC in Birmingham in April.
The Solution
Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions needed a stand that could work across multiple events without compromising the way it presented the brands within the group.
We designed a flexible modular exhibition stand, using BeMatrix components, that could be reconfigured to fit different floor spaces – 8m x 6m at London Build and 6m x 4m at the Fire Safety Event – without needing to start from scratch each time.
Each event needed unique graphics and branding to allow the client to lead with a different part of its product portfolio at each show. The open-plan layout with no raised floor gave the client full flexibility to bring in custom-built wheeled product display units, making it easy to set up live product demos and swap out the offering depending on the audience.
Because we’ve worked with the client and its sub-brands for several years, we understand how British Gypsum and Isover need to be presented. That knowledge fed directly into a design that could mix and match branding and product displays without losing coherence.
The Impact
Our stand delivered two distinct exhibition presences, each tailored to its audience without the additional cost or waste of separate builds. The reusable modular structure meant the client arrived at both events with a stand that looked both considered and purposeful, not recycled.
For a business with sustainability at its core, that mattered. The stand’s design reflected the same values Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions builds into its products; reducing waste, making better use of materials and thinking beyond the immediate project.
The flexibility to showcase different brands and product ranges at each event meant British Gypsum and Isover each got the platform they deserved, without either being crowded out by the other.
Testimonial
“We’ve worked with Exhibit Interactive across several projects now, and we appreciate how well Joe and the team understand our business and the nuances of the brands that sit within Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions. British Gypsum and Isover have distinct identities and different audiences, but the team delivered stands that represented both brands in a way that complemented each other.
“Plus, we developed a stand that can be reused across multiple events and reconfigured each time rather than rebuilt, reflecting our commitment to sustainability. The result was a stand we were proud to take to both shows. It provided a space for our stand volunteers to welcome visitors, and delivered a place for people to interact with both British Gypsum and Isover.”
