The Project
At Exhibit Interactive, we don’t just do exhibition stands. We do interiors and showrooms, too. And on some projects, like this one, we combine the best elements of both.
We’ve worked with ROBUS before, initially creating a bespoke exhibition stand with interactive elements so it could showcase its brand and offering at CEF Live in 2023.
Following the success of that event, ROBUS tasked us with reimagining the stand and reusing some of its features at this year’s Light + Building trade show in Frankfurt.
A key part of the brief was to design the stand in such a way that its essential elements could be transported to ROBUS’s Dublin HQ and put on display in its new purpose-built 227m² Customer Visitor Centre, which opened recently.
The project is part of a long-term plan to support ROBUS’s events strategy in the next few years.

The Solution
The new space showcases ROBUS’s innovative products – and those of its sister-brand, FuseBox – on the free-standing and wall-mounted display units we created.
Many of these were built on lockable castors for easy transport and reinstallation.
The showroom also features the stylish genius bar, immersive racing car simulator game and spectacular flexi-strip colour-changing light tunnel we created for the stand.
We also designed and built some additional bespoke elements specifically for the visitor centre, including wall graphics, custom-made seating and an illuminated timeline display telling the ROBUS story from its inception in 1984 to today.
Everything is finished in stunning, high-gloss monochrome colourways to match the distinctive ROBUS brand.
We worked closely with ROBUS’s logistics and health & safety staff to ensure everything could be installed seamlessly on-site.
Every element had to be made small to help with transportation and to ensure they could fit through the doors and in the lifts when at ROBUS HQ.
The Impact
The visitor centre’s opening was a resounding success, creating a massive buzz among customers and on social media. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from visitors highlights the significant impact the space has had in enhancing the customer experience.
The centre’s engaging and informative design showcases ROBUS’s innovative product offering and brand story, leaving a lasting impression on those who have explored the space.
This exciting step forward demonstrates ROBUS’s unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional experience for its customers, setting new standards in the industry.
It has undoubtedly strengthened ROBUS’s position as a leader in the LED lighting sector.
