The Project

We’ve worked with ROBUS before. Following the success of our last collaboration, it appointed us to create a sustainable bespoke exhibition stand to showcase its product offering and its sister brand, Fusebox, to delegates at this year’s Light + Building trade show.

Light + Building is a global trade show for manufacturers in the lighting, electrical engineering, home and building automation, and connected security technology sectors.

The biennial event, at Messe Frankfurt, brought together more than 2,100 exhibitors and 150,000 visitors to discover the latest products, innovations and industry updates, and expand their networks.

Following the event, we will be repurposing many of the stand’s components for use at ROBUS’ head office and showroom in Dublin, proving that with careful planning, bespoke stands can be sustainable.

The Solution

ROBUS had a vast open stand space at the show. We split the space into two, with one side dedicated to the main ROBUS brand and products, and the other designed with Fusebox’s distinctive neon pink colourways.

A custom-made, colour-changing light tunnel using the client’s strip lighting displays ran down the centre of the stand, separating the two areas. We repurposed the tunnel from the previous stand we built for ROBUS at CEF Live

The Fusebox side featured a branded back wall with integrated product displays and a bespoke, free-standing display arch with interactive touchscreens shaped like iPhones.

The ROBUS side featured custom-built free-standing modular display units, pre-fitted with products in our workshops and built on castors for easy movement and configuration. These were designed so they could be repurposed at future events and in the ROBUS showroom.

More products were showcased on wall-mounted displays around the stand, which was finished with back-illuminated logos and custom-printed graphics around the exterior, all in monochrome colours to match the distinctive ROBUS brand.

The stand also featured an integrated bar and hospitality area, complete with beer pumps, chillers, a coffee station and kitchen facilities. We sourced all the drinks, nibbles and consumables on behalf of the client.

The Impact

ROBUS’ bespoke stand left an indelible impression on visitors, captivating them with its innovative design and sustainable ethos. It seamlessly showcased ROBUS’ and Fusebox’s cutting-edge LED lighting solutions, immersing attendees in a visually stunning display.

Remarkably, the stand’s installation and configuration were executed with utmost efficiency, a testament to our team’s meticulous planning and expertise.

The stand’s versatility shone through as many of its components were later repurposed at ROBUS’ Dublin headquarters, exemplifying the company’s commitment to sustainability and resourcefulness.
