DEKS Industries Europe Ltd is one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of premium flashing and drainage solutions for the construction, roofing, plumbing and solar sectors. Established in the UK in 2003, with a history dating back to 1947, DEKS distributes its renowned brands through an extensive network of retailers, builders’ merchants and ecommerce platforms across Europe.
DEKS is committed to providing high-quality, user-friendly solutions backed by exceptional customer service. Its market-leading portfolio includes rubber and lead-free roof flashings, pipe couplings, surface water drainage products and specialist solar panel flashings, brushes and drains.
The Project
We’ve worked with DEKS before.
For our latest collaboration, we were tasked with creating an attractive, flexible modular exhibition stand that DEKS could take to various trade shows in different sectors and be able to tailor its messaging and products to event-specific audiences.
Some of the shows on its calendar include Solar & Storage Live in London and Birmingham, and InstallerSHOW 2025 at the NEC.
Solar & Storage is an annual roadshow that takes place at venues across Europe throughout the year. It brings together manufacturers, suppliers and providers of clean, renewable energy generation equipment and products.
InstallerSHOW is an annual event which brings together 800 exhibitors and 30,000 installers, specifiers and decision-makers from the heat, water, air and energy sectors.
The Solution
Our solution was to create a modular exhibition stand with neutral DEKS branding – just its logo and colourways – and interchangeable elements that allow the client to update its messaging and content depending on the show and audience.
The stand features a generic branded hanging banner and a hospitality counter with bespoke seating, built-in storage, a fridge and a coffee maker.
Its branded central archway has LED panels on the outside showing video content that can be tailored to the sector relevant to each show.
Inside the arch, updatable plinths and A-boards allow DEKS’ team to tailor their product displays and information to each specific show.
The stand also has an in-built storage area to the rear to house all the display boards, products and information when not in use. We designed the stand to be scalable, depending on the event and floor space, and we used reusable system stand components and materials wherever possible to ensure it was completely sustainable.
The Impact
Our flexible modular exhibition stand has delivered substantial benefits for DEKS.
Its team has reported longer, more focused conversations with visitors at the events they’ve attended so far, and the stand has successfully attracted qualified leads through its customised displays.
Solar & Storage Live proved particularly effective for new business development.
Like with all our modular stands, the reduced set-up time frees the DEKS team to prepare thoroughly for each event and engage with customers more effectively.
The stand’s innovative storage solutions have eliminated clutter, creating a professional environment that reflects the quality of DEKS’ products.
