It creates standard and customised products, built on highly reliable state-of-the-art technologies, for industrial sectors including automation, defence, transportation, healthcare, energy and infotainment.

The Project
We’ve previously worked with Kontron on several event projects and were recently tasked with helping it make a memorable impact at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The four-day show, which took place at the Fira Gran Via Conference Centre, in February and March, is the largest and most influential event in the global connectivity industry’s calendar.
Each year, it brings together tens of thousands of senior executives from top global companies, international governments, and trailblazing tech businesses to network, connect and make decisions.
More than 1,000 innovators and solutions providers exhibited at this year’s show, showcasing the latest equipment, products and services. There was also a packed conference agenda, with thought leaders and influencers discussing the latest industry trends.
Our brief was to create a reusable exhibition stand to help Kontron stand out in a packed exhibition hall, engage with visitors and showcase its technologies to a knowledgeable industry audience.
The Solution
Our creative solution was a reusable modular exhibition stand with bespoke elements, built using the BeMatrix system and LEDskin®, to help Kontron make a memorable visual impact.
It incorporated minimalist custom-printed, curved walls in Kontron’s distinctive white and blue brand colourways and an integrated LED screen playing brand video content.
An arch with feature lighting helped maximise the floorspace, which also incorporated a standalone touchscreen table with interactive content, product display areas and a custom-installed lamppost showcasing one of Kontron’s traffic management solutions in situ.
Behind the main stand space, we built a private meeting area with seating and LED screens, so Kontron’s sales team could hold pre-booked meetings with delegates and deliver live product demonstrations. Because it was a system stand, it gave the impression of a custom build without the bespoke price tag.
The Impact
The stand made a huge impact at the event, with hundreds of invited guests and passing visitors stopping by to engage over the four days. Many visitors were extremely complimentary of the design and loved the video content playing in the background, which created a sense of movement on the stand.
The most significant benefit for Kontron was how quick to build the stand was, which helped keep their costs down. Because it was a system stand, it took our two-person team just two days to install it on-site. Other stands around the hall were built from scratch and had much bigger teams taking far longer to install them.
We also created zero waste, and the whole stand can be stored and reused at future events, making it an extremely sustainable and cost-effective solution for the client.
