Working in partnership with marketing agency Factor 3 we created this stunning exhibition stand for Wavin. Wavin are the leading supplier of plastic piping systems for drainage and water, and the purpose of them exhibiting at Ecobuild was to promote discussion around The Future of Drainage.
The brief was to include a series of interactive features to encourage visitors to get involved in the debate. The first was a mobile pod that allowed visitors to flood London. When pressing a button an architectural model of London filled with water before draining away.
Wavin asked a group of young Civil Engineers from the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) to design new innovative products to help with future flood management. Wavin chose three to be made in to prototypes. We teamed up with the guys at Technical Models to help deliver these. Visitors could see and touch the prototypes and play a short video explainer on an iPad.
We incorporated large touch screens that allowed visitors to play video clips and visit websites.
And to help with encouraging debate, we included a huge social wall that showed scrolling video clips in addition to a live Twitter feed.
The ‘make a wish’ donation well proved popular and contributed to a healthy donation to the guys at WaterAid.
